Content managed websites using jQuery
Webi CMS uses jQuery for many different purposes both on the public website (which is also powered by itself), many places in the content management system as well as many if not most Webi CMS customer websites.
We use jQuery both for presentation enhancements as well as for communication with the Webi CMS system and basically we can use any jQuery function or plugin on your website given our CMS has no design or functionality restrictions.
New jQuery functionality is being created all the time so there are always new and great additional options to use in the development of new websites. On that basis, any jQuery you can find on other websites or on jQuery demo sites could in theory be added to your Webi CMS content managed website.
Some examples of jQuery on our CMS website include the watermark grey text that appears as a reminder of what to add into textboxes. The added benefit we have with our particular watermark implementation is that when you click on one of the textboxes, rather than the watermark immediately disappearing, it fades out so you can still see the text until the moment you actually type in some text.

Those same forms will shortly also move up and down the page as you scroll down the page (using jQuery obviously), because in this case the form may well be needed once you've read some or all of the main text.
